Dr. Joseph Atawalna is a veterinary surgeon by training. He graduated in 1990 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev. He has fifteen years of working experience as a Veterinary Doctor in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA), Ghana. He then joined the School of Veterinary Medicine, KNUST as a Lecturer in September, 2009. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Head, Department of Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology.
