Profile
I am a dedicated researcher in soil and water (Agricultural) engineering with a strong passion for understanding how land use/land cover, and climate change influence hydrological processes. My research focuses on soil moisture, land management systems and the water cycle assessments, with the goal of promoting sustainable land and water managment practices. I earned my PhD in Climate Change and Land Use, a Master’s in Soil and Water Engineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, all from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.
Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience in the use of geospatial tools such as ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, QGIS, R-Package, and Python, as well as modelling tools like the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) and IDRISI Selva for land surface change analysis. I integrate climate datasets such as the CMIP6 models in my work to better understand the interactions between land, water, and climate systems.
Currently, I serve as the IT Officer and Office Manager at the WASCAL Climate Change and Land Use (CCLU) Centre at KNUST, where I continue to apply my technical and analytical skills to advance climate and environmental research across West Africa.
