Yaa Ampofowaa Boaitey was engaged by the University over a decade ago in 2013 as a Project Administrator. She transitioned from this position to a Snr. Administrative Assistant in 2021.

Her journey at KNUST began at The Brew-Hammond Energy Centre (TBHEC) at the College of Engineering, KNUST as a Project Administrator, where she provided administrative support to implement over 30 major renewable energy projects in Ghana and beyond. She became the Secretary to the Africa Low Emission Development Strategies (Africa LEDS) Secretariat and the Management Board of TBHEC.

She is currently the Journal Manager for the Journal of Science and Technology which is the official journal for KNUST responsible for publishing original research in various fields of academic endeavor.
