Michael Ahenkorah-Marfo is Acting Deputy Librarian, Research Development and Innovation. He has played key roles in executing the mandate of the library within the set-up of KNUST, making space and learning resources available for the university community.
On the wider national level, he has helped to develop the skills of numerous Library Assistants who otherwise, would have been found wanting at work. As a member of the Governing Council of the Ghana Library Association, he contributed in diverse ways to develop and shape the cause of librarians and the library profession in Ghana.
Michael has conscientiously mentored junior colleagues in research, scientific writing and publication of research findings. Through these, a lot about the Prempeh II Library and for that matter KNUST is visible in the literature. His research interests include social media in libraries, electronic information delivery and current research trends in LIS.
